I am a Limited Permit Art Therapist dedicated to helping individuals, especially children and adolescents, to navigate emotional challenges through creative expression and compassionate care. I received my master’s degree in art therapy from Pratt Institute, where I developed a strong foundation in evidence-based, client-centered approaches that integrate both verbal and nonverbal forms of healing. Over the past two years, I have worked closely with children experiencing anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and grief. My work often involves play therapy and art therapy techniques to create a safe, supportive space where clients can explore their feelings at their own pace. I believe that creativity can be a powerful tool for communication, particularly for those who may struggle to express themselves through words alone. My approach is warm, collaborative, and adaptable. I strive to meet each client where they are, honoring their strengths while gently guiding them toward growth and healing. I value building strong therapeutic relationships and creating an environment where clients feel seen, heard, and understood. I am committed to ongoing professional development and maintaining high standards of ethical care. As I continue to grow in my practice, my goal is to provide meaningful, personalized support that empowers clients to better understand themselves and move forward with confidence.
