Most men don't show up to therapy to ‘talk about feelings’ — they show up because something concrete isn't working. Marriage on the brink. Drinking that's gotten away from them. Rage at work or at the kids. A sense of going through the motions. Our therapists know how to do practical, goal-oriented work that respects the way many men actually think and process, without skipping the deeper stuff that's driving the surface problem.
This may be a good fit if…
- ✓Anger, irritability, and short fuse at home or work
- ✓Marriage strain, separation, or affair recovery
- ✓Drinking, pornography, gambling, or other compulsive behavior
- ✓Career burnout, identity loss, or ‘is this it?’
- ✓Fatherhood — being the dad you didn't have
- ✓Trauma you've never told anyone
Practical, Goal-Oriented Sessions
We start with what's broken and work backward. Concrete goals, measurable progress, homework that fits in a real life. You'll leave most sessions with one thing to try before next week.
Anger & Stress Regulation
Anger is almost always covering something else — fear, shame, hurt, helplessness. We use CBT, somatic, and IFS approaches to give you the nervous-system skills to stop reacting and the emotional vocabulary to find out what's underneath.
Addiction & Compulsive Behavior
Drinking, porn, gambling, scrolling, work — we use harm-reduction, CBT, and IFS to help you understand the function the behavior serves, build alternatives, and decide what kind of relationship with the behavior you actually want.
Trauma Work That Doesn't Make You ‘Process’
EMDR and somatic approaches let you resolve trauma without long narratives about what happened. Many men find this fits how they want to do the work — efficient, body-based, no forced catharsis.
